Week 9 and week 10 have been the worst week by far. I was hospitalized on August 8th to August 11th. I went in for severe stomach pains and blood in my vomit. I was admitted automatically for internal bleeding without ant test done. I also found out I was 8 weeks pregnant on top of it. My husband and I where in shock this was not in our plans. I was soon transferred out to another hospital 45 mins away by ambulance to see a GI Specialist. Lots of blood was drawn every four hours because my hemoglobin was low, blood pressure low, and my thyroid levels low. I did have an endoscopy done there was no severe bleeding like thought my stomach however was inflamed severely. I also had an abdominal ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound and a internal vaginal ultrasound as well. I do a sub something hemorrhage on my placenta. Right now I need plenty of bed rest, and I am constantly tired. My stomach is still hurting I was given protoxin which is just like nexium but safer for the baby plus iron pills for my blood levels. At this time my husband was suppose to deploy September 29th on the 11th when I was released we found out he is now deploying in two weeks he may not have to go do to everything that is going on with me but we don't no yet till Monday. So as you can see besides being in pain I am also stressing!
Hi Sheila, I know this has been a hard 2 weeks on you. You have done wonderful keep up with everything. I must say that you are a very strong person and the passion that you have for everything, make me want to work even harder. You and your husband will get through all of this. Keep me posted on if he is going to be deployed. You know I will be here for you as much as possible. See you in our other classes.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness it does sound like these last two weeks have been crazy for you. Did the doctors put you on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy? I am sorry to hear about the bleeding, I know the chances and risks involved are dangerous. I hope they can stop the bleeding because that is very serious. Did you do a Red Cross message for your husband or EFMP paper work? I think that might be your best chance on getting him to stay home if he is leaving in two weeks. If you need to talk to someone, I am always available; we military wives have to stick together. I hope your husband gets to stay home with you because you are going to need many help and sounds like you have a full house. My email is kyrie_coger@yahoo.com; my face book is the same. If you message one of those, I can give you my number and we could chat if you wanted. God bless you and your family, get lots of rest and be extremely careful.

Your last two weeks sound a roller coaster of emotions! It all sounds so scary! Congratulations though on the little one :) I hope you can take good care of yourself and that your husband doesnt have to deploy soon or at all! I agree, you need lots of rest as well! So you will have to have the little ones help out, well as much as you can anyway! Good Luck with everything!
